Pam Cohen Cup
The crown jewel of Marine Park Soccer, the Pam Cohen Cup is an annual competition between past and present volunteers, alumni and senior players in celebration of the life of Pamela Cohen, a player who's spirit embodied the best the sport of soccer offers - passion, sportsmanship and camaraderie.
This year, we will make a special dedication at our annual event, in addition to a change in format, so get to the pitch promptly.
Here are the details:
Where: U19 Fields (Fields 8 and 9)
Date: Saturday, Nov. 30th, 2019
Time: Arrive at 9:00AM; team assignments promptly begin at 9:30AM
Format: Round robin tournament; 4 teams; 30-min matches; 15-min halves
Who's eligible: Volunteers, Alumni and senior players
Rain date: Sunday, December 1st, 2019 at same time
Ultimately, we gather for some lighthearted competition, to see old friends and to celebrate the life of Pam Cohen.

Merch Fundraiser Event
Our inaugural Merch Fundraiser Event is this Saturday, Oct. 19th and Sunday, Oct. 20th from 9:00AM - 12:30PM! We're selling Marine Park Soccer hoodies, tote bags, hats and car magnets. These items are hot, they’re limited in quantity and are part of a limited run - once they sell out, you may not see them again.
Stop by, we’ll have a tent by the fields on the East 33rd St. side of the park.
All proceeds will go towards sending our players to national AYSO tournaments.

Picture Day
This coming Sunday is Picture Day 📸- our first fundraiser of the season! Please arrive at the park early with your order forms completed and with the exact amount in cash for the photo package you wish to purchase. Be sure to add $4.00 for shipping and handling to the final price of your order. We won't be accepting credit cards or checks for payment.

A completed order form. (You can find a list of the packages our photographer offers plus a copy of the order form by clicking on this link).
Should there be a threat of rain this Sunday, I will send an email out to the league the night prior and I will reschedule for Sunday, Oct. 6th.
Please come by even if you choose not to purchase a photo package and take a photo with your team at the time they are scheduled to meet. There is no obligation to you to purchase a team photo.

Parent Orientation
Come learn about all the changes in-store for 2019 at our Parent Orientation this Saturday, Sept. 7th at Marine Park Junior High School. Meet our new Regional Commissioner, ask questions, meet your coach and pick up your player's uniforms.

Enter through the Stuart St. entrance, past the security guard, down the stairs to the basement level.
When:
U5/U6: 10:00 - 10:45AM
U8: 11:00 - 11:45AM
U10: 1:00 - 1:45PM
U12: 2:00 - 2:45PM
U14/U16/U19: 3:00 - 3:45PM
VIP: Orientation will take place on the field Sept. 15th at 11:30AM
Please note, no matches are played during Parent Orientation. This is an information session for new and returning parents. If for whatever reason you can't make it this Saturday, an arrangement will be made for uniform distribution on alternate day yet-to-be-determined.
